About the practice

The whole horse, considered.

Equilibrium Veterinary Services was created with the whole horse in mind — a balance of holistic and traditional medicine to enhance the performance and well-being of the equine athlete and the dearly-loved companion.

Dr. Dinah Skorich brings her passion for complimentary medicine — veterinary acupuncture, spinal manipulation, herbals, and rehabilitation — to horses in the Hudson Valley, New Jersey, and Wellington, Florida. She works in conjunction with your horse's regular veterinarian to provide the care your horse deserves.

EVS offers rehabilitation services at Granny Fox Farm in Goshen, NY, and has recently added acupuncture, herbal, and laser therapies for canine and feline friends, too.

Dr. Skorich and veterinary technician Jessica Deer blend complimentary services with sports medicine for every patient that walks, trots, or limps through the door.

Certified through the Chi Institute. Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for horses, dogs, and cats — a proven complement to modern sports medicine.

Dinah Skorich, DVM.

A quiet passion for complimentary medicine, a career built around the racing and sport-horse world, and a zoo of her own back home.

Founder · Equine Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine

Dinah has loved animals — especially horses — for as long as she can remember. She earned her DVM from NC State in 2011, completed an equine surgical and ambulatory internship at Ocala Equine Hospital in Florida, and moved to New York to develop her interest in Standardbred racehorses, hunters, and jumpers.

In 2018 she left general equine practice to build Equilibrium Veterinary Services — a place where sports medicine and complimentary therapies could sit side-by-side in the same exam. At home: three floofy dogs, several kitties, several horses, a ferret, and a snake.

Our clinic and rehabilitation facility sits at Granny Fox Farm — easy access for trucks and trailers, with a driveway that encircles the barn. Ambulatory visits cover the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.
